[No. 13.] To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Acton in
the County of Middlesex and to the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St Leonards Shoreditch in the sd. County of Middlesex

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
us, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
acting in and for the County of Middlesex
aforesaid (one whereof being of the Quorum), by the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said
Parish of Acton That Giles Davis< no role > and Mary< no role >
his Wife and there Seven Children (Vizt) One
Son Named Thomas< no role > aged thirty Year St and One
Daughter named mary< no role > Aged twenty four Years
and One Other Daughter named Hannah< no role > Aged
Sixteen Years and One Other Daughter named
Elizabeth< no role > Aged twelve Years and One other Son
named William< no role > aged nine Years and One other
Son named John< no role > aged Six Years and one other
Daughter Named Sarah< no role > Aged. four Years
lately intruded, and
came into the said Parish of Acton in the Sd County
and he likely to become chargeable to the same: We
the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the
same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the said Giles Davis< no role > and Mary< no role >
his Wife and there seven Children (vizt) Thomas< no role >
mary< no role > Hannah< no role > Elizabeth< no role > William< no role > John< no role > and
Sarah< no role > to be in the Parish of Saint Leonard
Shoreditch in the said County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to
require you, the said Church-Wardens, and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Acton in
the said County on sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said Giles Davis< no role > and Mary< no role > his Wife
and there seven Children (Vizt) Thomas< no role > mary< no role > Hannah< no role > Elizabeth< no role > William< no role > John< no role > and
Sarah< no role >
from and our of your said Parish of Acton in the Said
County to the said Parish of St Leonards Shoreditch
in the said County of Middlesex
and them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some or one of them,
together with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof,
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
them- according to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals this second Day of January
in the Year of Our Lord 1786
