The Report of the
Commee of Accounts


The following Report from the Committee appointed to examine
and adjust from time to time etc being read is as
follows Vizt.

(here take in the report)
Resolved that the same be received and Confirmed and that
the Clerk of the Peace do forthwith issue issue the severall Orders
upon the Treasurer of this County for the payment of the
several Sums therein mentioned amounting to the sum of
£357..17..11½

By adjournement same day
(incert the paper annext) [mark] with
Mr Chairman stated to the Court that he and several
Justices of the peace of this Cos had lately
other [..] examined the New prison at Clerkenwell
& the Tap House adjoining thereto and found that by reason of the Tap being between [..]
the Keepers house and the said prison, The Keeper was prevented
oppertunity ofoverlooking the said prison and Prisoners therein
in the Manner he ought to do & that he
and therefore could not at all times be so well acquainted with [..]
what was Transacting within the said prison as he ought
to be

Resolved that the said said Tap be discontinued in
& that the said Tap House he laid into the keeper House
futureand that Richard Bond< no role > the present Tenant
thereof be have notice to quit at next Coming

and that it be referred to the Committee appointed etc
to consider of the most proper mode of carrying the said
Alteration into executionas alsoand that they do report their
opinion thereon to the Court on the County day of the next
Session
