That previous to the appointment<lb></lb>
of the late <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50801_n526-1">John Harrow</rs>

(deceased) to take care<lb></lb>
of the gallary door in the Court your petitioner<lb></lb>
apply'd for the assistance of a Porter or Person<lb></lb>
to be subject to his Command during Sessions<lb></lb>
who might not only take care of the gallary<lb></lb>
doors, but open and shut the doors of the<lb></lb>
Court and Session House to clear away<lb></lb>
Idle and suspicious persons and to keep the Court<lb></lb>
clean and in good Order during Sessions</p>

intention of the Court (from motives of<lb></lb>
humanity) to appoint the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50801_n527-1">John Harrow</rs>

now resume his application as above<lb></lb>
stated, and that your petitioner doth not<lb></lb>
crave more assistance than his predecessor<lb></lb>
formerly had in a much less Building</p>

leave to add that having several times<lb></lb>
mentioned to the Court how much his<lb></lb>
Situation and this Building is exposed to<lb></lb>
the Public, by the way to the Clerk of the<lb></lb>
