that they the said Jurors having carefully viewed the Prison commonly c [..]
the House of Correction at Clerkenwell in the said County of Middlesex are of
opinion That the said Prison is in a ruinous State insecure and by no Means
Crge enough or Sufficiently airy for the Confinement of the Number of Prisoner
generally therein confined or capable or an swering the general purposes of [..]
House of Correction Given under our Hands the twenty fourth day of
July in the twenty third year of the reign of out Sovereign Lord George the third
King of Great Britain Etc.
