I Most humbly Entreat Your Pardon for being
thus troublesome as also hope for your favourable
Excuse for Me to the Court for My Neglect in attending
at Guild hall Westminster to a precept from Mr
Wild which was not a Willfull neglect but as I have
A Large famoly And in order to Support them I have
Engaged Myself as a Weekly Man to an Upholden and
Undertakes Who happened to Make A distrass on goods
and put me in prosecution which we Expected would be
Settled in a few hours but before I could be Discharged
therefrom I was too late to Meet the gentleman and
My wife is laid up three 3 Weeks with a bad legg
or I would have been able to have Came in time but
as I had no presentments to Make I hope You will
Represent My Case to the Court in the favourables
Light you Can and you will Hond. Sir Ever oblidge
