It also appears by a Memorandum in the hand writing of Mr
Benson that he hath not received any Rent for the Tap at the House of
Correction at Clerkenwell since Michaelmas 1782 and by the examination of Mrs.
Gibbes late the Widow of Mr Thomas Harwood< no role > Keeper of the said Tap it appears
that Mr Harwood paid Rent to Mr. Crozier then then Governor of the said House
of Correction to Christmas 1782 but since that time no Rent hath been paid
That Mrs. Harwood continued in the house till March last but that before
Christmas 1782 the business of serving the Prison was stopped That Mr.
Harwood in December 1782 petitioned the Court in consequence whereof
the Rent was reduced to £15 a Year to commence from Christmas 1782
That little or no business was done at the Tap after that time and for three
Months before last March the time when Mrs. Harrwood left the house us
business whatsoever was carried on.

It appears to the Committee that Mrs. Margaret Benson< no role >
Widow and Relict of our John Benson< no role > is the only Executrix and legal
Representative of the said Mr John Benson< no role >

It is Ordered that Mrs. Margaret Benson< no role > Widow and he Act of
the late Mr John Benson< no role > Treasurer of this County do forthwith deliver over to
the Clerk of the the Peace of this County or his Deputy all the Accounts and
Vouchers and other Books papers and Wrikings belonging to this County
and remaining in the hands of the said Mr Benson as Treasurer or
Receiver as aforesaid at the time of his decease.

His Ordered that the said Mrs. Margaret Benson< no role > do
forthwith pay unto Mr. Charles Eyles< no role > the present Treasurer of this County
the Sum of Eight hundred and Seventy three Pounds Eighteen Shillings
and four pence halfpenny being the balance due to the County Stock
remaining in the hands of the said Mr. John Benson< no role > at the time of his
decease and that the receipt of hte said Mr Eyles together with this Order shall
be a sufficient discharge to the said Mrs. Benson for the payment of the said
Sum of Eight hundred and Seventy three Pounds Eighteen shillings and four
pence halfpenny pursuant to the Order of Court in that Case.

It is Ordered that Mr. Eyles do pay out of the first
Money as shall come into his hands the several Bills and Demands
following Vizt.
