Within the Hundred of Ossulston , in the said County.

WHEREAS the Sheriff of the County of Middlesex hath produced and shewn to
us, William Mainwaring< no role > , Esquire, and the Reverend Sir George Booth< no role > , Baronet,
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County, one whereof being of
the Quorum, residing within the said Hundred of Ossulston, in the said County, a
certain Writ of Execution, issuing out of the Court of King's Bench at Westminster ,
at the Suit of MICHAEL CULLEN< no role > , tested the twelfth Day of February last;
whereby the said Sheriff is commanded, that the Goods and Chattels of Men the
Inhabitants of the Hundred of Ossulston, in the County, he cause to be made One
Hundred and thirteen Pounds, which to Michael Cyullen, in the same Court, were lately
adjudged for his Damages which he had sustained; as well by Reason of the unlaw-
fully, feloniously, and with Force in Part demolishing a certain Dwelling-House,
situate and being in Whitecross-Street , in the Parish of Saint Luke, Old-Street , and
within the said Hundred of Ossulston, in the said County; and also by Reason of the
unlawfully, feloniously, and with Froce wholy demolishing certain Fixtures, House-
hold Goods, Furniture, Linen, Wearing Apparel, stock in Trade, Notes, and Monies
of the said Michael there being in the said Dwelling-House, by divers Persons, to
the Number of twelve and more, there unlawfully, riotously, and tumultuously
assembled together, to the Disturbance of the Public Peace; as also for his the said
Michael's Costs and Charges by him the said Michael about his Suit in that Behalf
expended, whereof Matthew Coghlan< no role > and John Howard< no role > , two of the Inhabitants of the
said Hundred of Ossulston, were convicted. AND WHEREAS due Proof, upon
Oath, hath been made to us the said Justices, that the just and necessary Expences
which the said matthew Coghlan and John Howard< no role > , as Inhabitants of the said Hundred,
have been at in defending the said Action, have been taxed by the Proper Officer of
the said Court at, and amount to the Sum of Thirteen Pounds four Shillings and
Nine-pence.

WHEREFORE we the said William Mainwarding< no role > and the Reverend Sir George Booth< no role > ,
Justices as aforesaid, according to the Directions of the several Statutes in such Cafe
made and provided, have assessed and taxed, rateably and proportionably, all and every
the Towns, Parishes, Villages, Hamlets and Place, as well of the said Hundred as
the Liberties within the said Hundred, to and towards and equal Contribution to be had
and made for the Relief of the said Inhabitants of the said Hundred, against whom the
said Execution has been obtained, and for Payment thereof, and also for Payment of
the said just and necessary Expences which the said Inhabitants of the said Hundred
have been at in defending the Action aforesaid, do hereby asses and tax

AND we do hereby require and command you,
the Constable aforesaid, forthwith rateably and proportionably, to tax and assess,
according to their abilities, every Inhabitant and Dweller in your said
for and toward the Payment of such
Taxation and Assessment, made upon the said as aforesaid, by Us the said
Justices, and to levy and collect within your said the Sum
above specified, taxed and assessed upon the same as aforesaid, within Thirty Days
from the Date hereof; and do hereby also further require and command you, within
Ten Days after you shall have levied and collected the said Sum of
so Taxed as aforesaid, and hereby ordered to be levied and collected upon the Inhabitants
and Dwellers in your said to pay and deliver the same, by Virtue of this Warrant,
subject to the Uses and Purposes in the Statutes relating thereto, mentioned and
appointed, to the Governor and Company of the Bank of England , in the joint Names
of Us the said William Mainwaring< no role > and Sir George Booth< no role > , as Justices aforesaid, and
Sir Barnard Turner< no role > , Knight, and Thomas Skinner< no role > , Esquire , Sheriff of the said County
of Middlesex , taking a Receipt or Receipts of the said Governor and Company, or
their proper Officer, who shall receive the same on their Account; which Receipt or
Receipts shall be your sufficient Discharge for the Money of paid by you as aforesaid.

In Testimony whereof, We the said Justices have hereunto set our Hands and
