To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their Quarter Session of the peace assembled.

The humble petition and Appeal of the Churchardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. George Hanover
Square within the Liberty of Westminster and County
of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by virtue of s pass Warrant or Order under the hands and
Seals of G. Mercer Jno. Barnfather< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the sixth day of
July 1784 John Platt< no role > Frances < no role > his wife and their four Children
namely Frances < no role > aged ten years Noah< no role > aged eight years, Rebecca< no role >
aged six years and Vurley < no role > aged one year (the two first named
Children having gained no settlement in their own right) wore
Removed and conveyed from and out of the parish of St. Mary
le Bone in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of
St. George Hanover square in the said Liberty of Westminster
andtheCounty aforesaid whereby your petitioners think themselves
aggrieved and humbly Appeal to this Court against the same.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray your Worships will
please to grant that the benefit of the said Appeal may be
saved unto them and that the hearing and determining
thereof be adjourned until the next General Session of the
peace to be holden for the said County of Middlesex and that
all persons concerned may be ordered then to attend this Court
touching the said Appeal.
