To His Majesty's Justices of the Poor for the County
of Middlesex in their General Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humbel Petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor of the parish of Saint John Southwark
in the County of Surrey

Sheweth

That or virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the Hands and Seals of John Staples< no role > and Samuel Hawkins< no role >
Esquires two of His & Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex (one where of being of the Quorum) bearing date the
28th. day of October 1783 Robert Smith< no role > was removed and Conveyed
from and out of the parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel in the
County of Middlesex to the said parish of Saint John Southwark
in the County of Surrey as the place of his last legal Settlement
That Your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved by the sd. Order
and Appeal to this Court againts the same.

Your Petitioners therefore
Humbly Pray that the benefit of this
their Petition and Appeal may be Saved
unto them and that the hearing & determining
there of may be adjourned until the next
General Quarter Session of the Peace to be
holden for the said County and that all
persons concerned may be ordered to attend
at that him

And Your Petitioners will Ever Pray Etc: Etc.
