To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Mary Whitechapel in the County of Middlesex , to con-
vey, and to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. John Hor [..] down in the
County of Surry to receive and obey.

WHERE AS Complaint hath been made unto Us, whose
Hands and Seals are hereunto set, being two of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace , in and for the County of Mid-
dlesex, (one where of being of the Quorum) by the Church
Wardens or Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary
Whitechapel , in the said County,
That Edward Blogg Maundy< no role > his wife and
their had Children Vizt Agnes Ann< no role > aged
about Eighteen years and Edward John< no role > aged
about Nine years have
lately come to inhabit in the said Parish of St. Mary White-
chapel , not having gained any legal Settlement there, non pro-
duced any Certificate acknowledging them to be settled else-
where, and are likely to become chargeable to the said Parish:
We, the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises upon
Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true,
and do also adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the
said Edward Blogg Maundy his Wife and
their said two Children
to be in the Parish of St. John Horsley down in
he County of surry

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, and by Virtue
of the Statutes in that Behalf, to require you, on Sight
hereof, to remove and convey the said
Edward Blogg< no role > Maundy his Wife and
their said two Children
from and out of your said Parish of St. Mary Whitechapel , to
the said Parish of John Horsley down
and them deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this our Or-
der, or a true Copy hereof, who are hereby required to receive
and provide for than
according to Law. Given under our Hands and Seals this
21st Day of October in the Year
of our Lord 1783
