At abourt of Aldermen held on
Tuesday the 7th. day of May 1782.
and in the twenty second Year of the
Reign of King George the third of
Great Britain Etc.

Resolved That the Representatives for this City in
Parliament and such Members of this Court as are
Member of Parliament be desired to cooperate with
the Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex or
any other Persons in bringing in a Bill to suppress
the Game of E.O. and other Games of Chance which
now prevail to the Rum of many unhappy Persons
in this Metropolis.
