Minutes of the Committee appointed to Examine into the Lanes
respecting Gaming and Garning Houses

Mr. James Croft< no role > having informed this Committee that
Mr. Aldermen Crosly had in a Conversation on the Subject of the
business of this Committee said that the Lord Mayor and Aldermen
of the City of London were very willing and desirous to join the
Magistrates of this County in their intended application to
Parliament for an act more Effectually to check the Permisions
practice of Gaming Resolved that the offer be Cordially
accepted and that as soon as this Committee have come to any
Resolutions and Clauses proper to be offered to the House of
Commons that Copies of such Claluses be sent to Mr Alderman
Crosby with an Invitation for an Interview upon the Subject

Six o Clock same place
