who Stoped him and accested him and Called him<lb></lb>
their Swearing that he saw him the said Hughes Steal the leaves he<lb></lb>

Trial at this Sessions for which he now Stands Arraigned at this Bar-<lb></lb>
But as He the said Hughes<obscured></obscured>
es himself Innocent as the Urborn Babe<lb></lb>
and that he knew No other than that the said Basket from which the said<lb></lb>
leaves were taken belonged to the Journey man first set forth who possitively<lb></lb>
tould him it was and the said Hughes declares he knew No other<obscured></obscured>
absolutly<lb></lb>
thought it to bes without the least grain of suspicious to the Contrary <lb></lb>
And the said Hughes as a further proof of his Innocence Setaforth<lb></lb>
the following Gentlemen whom he has served in the Occupation of a<lb></lb>
