The Debtors on the common side being in expectation
of having the honour of seeing you yesterday they accordingly
chose a comittee of four to lay before you part of the grievances
they suffer, their disapointment was attributed to the
multiplicity of business you are necessarily engaged in,
the enclosed state of our situation is what was unanimously
agreed to by the 20 Debtors lockd up at Nights in one Room
which are only instructions to the comittee to lay before you
personably our uncomfortable situation, but not having
that opportunity we have taken the liberty of sending
them to you,

We find Mr. Hall waite on you yesterday which
probably was the occation of such disapointment, we
apprehend Mr. Halls Idias & ours differs exceedingly, and
from the Nature of the place any temporary conveniences
he means to make well answer little or no purpose

The number of Prisoners always expected in the beginning
of the Terms will add to our calamities

A report prevails in the prison we are to be Kept here
all the Winter, which of us will survive it God only knows
but are afraid it will be but few, Human Nature can been
hardsheps to a certain degree & no more. a Gentlemen of
feeling humanity we beg have to recommend this to your
serious consideration, and also to submit it to your
superior judgments whether the lifes of his Majestys
