To the worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in their
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Little Stanmore in the said County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by an Order under of the Hands and Seals of Jos. Wilton< no role > and G Allcock two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the County Middlesex (one where of being of the Quorum) bearing Date the 23d.. day
of May 1780 William Hawkins< no role > Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and their three Children (Namely)Mary< no role > aged
fifteen Years Sarah< no role > aged the thirteen Years and William< no role > aged five Years were removed from the Parish of
Saint Mary-le-Bone in the [..] County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Little Stanmore
as the legal Settlement of the said William Hawkins< no role > his said Wife and their three Children
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to be aggrieved and against the said Order do
appeal

[..] Years there fore humbly pray that a Day may br
appointed in the present Session to hear and determine the Matter
touching the said Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever pray

At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden for
the County of Middlesex at Hick's Hall in Saint Street on Monday the Twenty
Sixth Day of June in the Twentieth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the Third King of Great Britain Etc

It is Ordered that the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary le Bone in the
County of Middlesex have Notice of the appeal And that they and all Persons Concerned do Attend the Court at Hicks
Hall in Saint John Street in the said County on Thursday the Twenty Ninth Day of this Instant June to hear and Abide
the Judgement and Determination of the Said Court touching the said Appeal
