Among the Orders of Easter Term in the
twentieth year of the Reign of his Majesty King
George the third in the Book of Orders of the
Court of Exchequer in the Lord Treasurers
Remembrances Office there is contained
as follows Vizt.

Friday the twenty eighth Day of April

Middlesex


Whereas on the Motion of Mr. Howorth on behalf of Charles Eyles< no role > Gentleman
Deputy Clerk of the Peace for the said County informing the Court that if does
Appear from the Affidavit of the said Charles Eyles< no role > that on or about the third
Day of December last he delivered to the Sheriff of the said County an Estreat
or Extract of the Issues Fines Americaments and Recognizances forfeited
and sett in the several Sessions of the Peace holden in and for the said
County between Michaelmas One thousand seven hundred and seventy eight
and Michaelmas One thousand seven hundred and seventy nine and
did also deliver into this Court to wit to Sir John Skynner< no role > Knight
Chief Baron of the said Court a Duplicate of such Estreat so delivered
to the Sheriff aforesaid; That some time after the delivery of the Estreat aforesaid
He the said Charles Eyles< no role > discovered that a fine sett and imposed by the
Court at the General Quarter Session of the Peace holden in and for the said
County in the Month of January One thousand seven hundred and seventy
Nine upon One Arm Fenwick upon her Conviction on an Indictment against
Her for a certain Misdemeanor was omitted to be inserted in the said
Estreat; That he the said Charles Eyles< no role > did not wittingly or willingly conceal
the said Fine or wittingly or Willingly miscertify the same whereby the
Process of this Honourable Court for levying the same might be made
invalid and of none Effect nor for any other Cause whatsoever; but
that the Miscertifying the said Time was a mere unintentional
Omission; It was therefore prayed that the said Charles Eyles< no role > may be
at Liberty to Amend the said Estreat so delivered to the said late Sheriff of
the said County by inserting the said Fine, and to amend the duplicate
thereof now in the Hands of the Clerk of the Estreats of this Court by inserting
the said Fine and reswearing the same; Whereupon and upon hearing
the said Mr. Howorth and reading the said Affidavit It is this Day
Ordered by the Court as prayed.
