WHEREAS by a Pass granted by me
one of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex , directed to the
Constable of the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields ,
in the said County, requiring the said Constable to
convey Ann Allen< no role > This name instance is in set 3779. [..]
Vagrant (apprehended in the said Parish) to the
Parish of Ridge in the County
of Hertford in the way to West Chester
in the County of Chester
I do hereby order and direct the said Vagrant to be
conveyed to the said Parish of Ridge
in one Day,s time; for which the said Contractor is
to be allowed the Sum of Six Pence
for Subsistence and no more. Given under my Hand
this 31st Day of January in the Year of
our Lord 17 80
