WHEREAS by a Pass under the Hand and Seal of Samuel

one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of London
bearing Date the 28th. Day of October 1779
Elizabeth Ward< no role > a Vagrant therein mentioned was
ordered to be Conveyed from the City of London
to the
Parish of St. Giles in the Town of Cambridge
that being as appeared upon the Examination of the said Elizabeth
Ward< no role > the Place of her last legal Settlement:
I DO therefore hereby order and in His Majesty's Name require You the
aforesaid Constable, or other Officer to conveythe said
Elizabeth Ward< no role > from your said Liberty, to the
Parish of Cheshunt in the County of Herts
being the first Parish in the next Precinct,and deliver her to the Con-
stable or other Officer there to be by them conveyed forward as the Law
directs, to the said Town of Cambridge - for which you
the said Constable or other Officer are to be allowed the Sum of one
shilling and no more. Given under my Hand this
29th. Day of October in the Year of our Lord 17 79
