To the Worshipfull his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex at their General
Session of the Peace assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Overseers of
the Poor of the Precinct of Saint Catherine in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of
H. Messiter and Edmund Pepys< no role > . Esquires two of his Majesties
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex one whereof being of
the Quorum hearing gate the Fourth day of September Instant
Penelope Lambe< no role > was removed from the Parish of Saint Pancras in
the said County to the said Precinct of Saint Catherine (by the
description of the Hamlet of Saint Katherine by the Town in the
said County) as the Place of her last legal Settlement.

That your Petitioners conceive themselves aggreived by the
said Warrant or Order and humbly Appeal against the same

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray that your Worships
will be Pleased to appoint a day this present Session that all
Parties may attend to hear and abide the Judgment and
determination of this Court touching the said Appeal and
your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
