Treatise on the Military Science,

Which comprehends the Grand Operations of War, and general Rules for Con-
ducting an Army in the Field, founded upon Principles for the Improvement
of the same. To which will be added, the Manner of Attacking and Defending
of Military Posts, Villages, Church-Yards, and Houses, with many other.
Articles of Information of great Utility of the Officer.

The Technical [..] need in eh Course of the work will be explained.

Late of the Queen's Royal Regiment of Foot, Author of the Military Medley,
Military Guide, Military Course, and Military Instructor.

In the Execution of this laborious Undertaking, no Pains or Expence will be spared to render
it complete: to effect which, the best Military Books in most Languages will be
quoted.

The uncommon rapid and increasing Sale of the Author's Publications, has induced him
to offer this Work in Quarto, containing some hundred Pages, at so low a Price as Eleven
Shillings in Boards, or One Guinea for a fine Copy bound in Calf, letter'd and hand-
fomely gilt. One Half to be paid at the Time of Subscribing, and the Remainder on
Delivery of the Book.

Those disposed to favour this Undertaing, are requested at the Time of Subscribing to see
their names, Rank, Etc. entered as they with to have them prefixed to the Work.

The Bookwill agate Prefer as soon as Two Hundred were are subscribed [..] is at Pass,

The Author will be under the Necessity of raising the Price to Non-Subscribers.

Cros; Davis, Piccadilly ; Faulder, New Bond Street ; [..] ; Bew, Pater-
noster Row ; and by the Author, at Fort-Harvey Bushey Herts.

N. B. The MILITARY COURSE and MILITARY INSTRUCTOR are tobe had at the
above Place;
