To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Hayes in the
said County and to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Pauls Covent
Garden in the County of
Middlesex aforesaid
and to each and every of them

UPON the Complaint of the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Hayes
in the said County of Middlesex unto us whose Names
are hereunto set and Seals affixed, being two of his Majesty's Justice
of the Peace in and for the-said County of Middlesex
and one of us of the Quorum, that William Fletcher< no role > about
the age of Twelve Years an apprentice to Thomas
Sherrick
< no role > of the Parish of Saint Paul Covert Garden
aforesaid Frank Maker
did lately come to inhabit in the said Parish of Hayes
in the said County not having gained a legal Settlement there, nor
produced any Certificate owning himself to be settled else-
where, and that the said William Fletcher is
likely to be chargeable to the said
Parish of Hayes We the said
Justice upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon the Examination
of [..] said Susannah Fletcher< no role > his Mother upon Oath,
as otherwise, and likewise upon due Consideration had of the Pre-
mises, do adjudge the same to be true; and we do likewise adjudge,
that the Lawful Settlement of him the said William Fletcher
is in the said Parish of Saint Pauls Covent Garden in the said
County of Middlesex We do therefore
said Parish of Hayes or some or
one of you, to convey the said William Fletcher
from and out of your said Parish of Hayes
to the said Parish of [..] Covent Garden and him
to deliver to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
to some or one of them, together with this our Order, or a true Copy
thereof And we do also hereby require you the said Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Pauls Covent Garden
to receive and provide for him as Inhabitants of your
Parish Given under our Hands Seals the Eleventh
Day of February in the Year of our Lord One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy Nine
