That your Petitioner was bound
Apprentice
to
Thomas Tew< no role >
of Queen Street
Seven Dials
in the Parish of Saint Giles
in the Fields
in the County of Middlesex
Coach maker
by Indenture bearing Date
the twenty third day of October and
thousand seven hundred and sixty six.
That your Petitioner hath a
faithfully served the said Thomas Tew< no role >
for one year and upwards as his apprentice
That soon after your petitioner
was bound apprentice
his said Master
hired himself to work Journey work and
offered your Petitioner's Father five pounds
if he would take his Son away from him
but that your Petitioners Father told his
said Master Thomas Tew< no role >
, if he could not
employ his Son your Petitioner that he
the said Thomas Tew< no role >
must fined another
Master for him which the said Thomas Tew< no role >
said he could not do under forty pounds
And that he would not learn your petitioner
his Trade because he would not hurt his
own Family as he could not get Journey work
if he kept him as his Apprentice
