Middx Join upon his Informson upon Oath taken before me one of her Maties Justices
of ye peace forye sd County Saith That abt: One of ye Clocking Morning of ye first
day of May instant, His this Informt. together wth: William Johns< no role > & James Hanket< no role >
went into aplari call'd (as this Informt. hath been told) Browers Yard nigh King
Street in ye Parish of St. Margt: Wstmr. in ye sd County; And that ye sd Harket
then endeavor'd to break open a house in ye sd yard, but not having any thing to
wrench out an Iron Baring Celler window of ye House, his this Informed ye sd
James & Hasket retarn'd into Kings Street foresd, where ye Hacket & James-
took a Rale off a Butchers Stall, &then went bark to ye sd House & Jones &
Hacket then ordered this Informt. to go back & stand at ye End of a passage-
leading out of Kings street to ye sd house & to watch there to prvent there being
Sur [..] That in a Short time this Informed: Law ye sd Hacket go down into
ye Cellar of house & come up again to Sently & up Two Flasks, of Wine,
but do not know that her brought up any thing elses And this Informt-
further saith That from thence her & James & Hacket will abt. Two
of ye Clock in Same Morning into a Street call'd car this Informed hath Since
heard [..] vine Street nigh ye Horse ferry in ye Parish aforesd first
Hacket likewise endeavour'd to break into another house & having first
pull'd down & pale that stood before sd house hee than forsed open the
Shutters of Kitchen Window, but not being able to break an Iron Bar
there, hee this Informt. & ye sd James & Harket went into a Street then by and
there they took a Caps of a Car, & returning to ye sd house in Vine Street, Harket
ferred an Iron Bar in ye Window, & went to ye House, & [..] returing in a short
time deliver'd to ye sd James, who waited at ye Window, a parcill of Linner &
other goods & several paices of pleate out wch sd. Jones did deliver to this Informt
a Mantua Gown & a large Silver cup, wth this Informt: wrapt up in sd Gown, &
also a perying wch her put into his porket. That then hee this Informed & ye sd
James & Hacket went along ye Road leading to His depart, but were Stop by ye
watch & carry before a constable at hee was informed & be gives where ye sd Hacket fireing apistoll was
to [..] [..] , & thereupon a great Hurry & Confusion following, this Informd &
ye sd James found means to run away, But meeting another Watchman uponly
Road, hee this Informt. was Knock down, but at last got away from that
Watchman, but was forced to have be hind him ye sd. Gown & Cup wrapt up in
it And this Informed further Saith That able four or five of ye Clocks in ye Morning-
aforesaid ye Jones & this Informt went into Chirk Lane [..] West Saint field,
where, as Jones told this Informed his sold a Silver Taukard & a Sliver Ladle,
part of Goods Stollen out ye sd. house in Vine street for four pounds & some
ad morning out wch her gave to this Informt hath Guinia & four Shillings &
told him that hee would send Forty Six Shillings to ye Harket & that ye Man who
bought ye Tankard & Ladhi, melted them down imediately.
