The Humble Petition and Appal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Came Peters Cheeshill
in the County of Southampton

Sheweth

That by on Order or pass warrant [..] the
Hands and Seals of John Penleaze< no role > Esqr. and David Wilmot< no role > Esqr.
two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the said
County of Middlesex bearing date the 23d day of Septr. 1778
Elizabeth Pickernell< no role > wife of William Pickernell< no role > and her there
Children namely William< no role > Aged Seven Years and upwards Jane< no role >
aged five year upwards and Margaret< no role > aged about fen [..]
months were removed from the Parish of Saint Leonard
Shorditch in the County of Middx to the Parish of Saint Peter
Clarwell in the County of Southampton whereon you Petitioners
Conceive themselves agrrieved and humbly appeal therefrom

Your Petrs. therefore pray that a Day may
be appointed for the hearing and determining
such appeal and that the Church Wardens &
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Leonard
Shoreditch may be ordered to attend to hear
and abid the Judgment of the Court concerning
the same Appeal
