The Humble Petition and Appeal of Barwell Brown< no role > Esqr

Sheweth


That by a certain Rate or Assessment made by the
the Churchwardens and overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex on the
Inhabitants and Occupiers of Houses Shops Warehouses Chambers
Lands Tenements and other Premisses of the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster and County of
Middlesex on or about the 18th. Day of October 1774. for one Quarter of a year beginning
the 24th. Day of June 1771. and ending the 29th. of September
following for the Necessary Relief of the Came impolent blind and
other Poor of the said Parish your Petitioner is rated and assessed
in the Sum of 16s. and 8d. for his Chambers in Lincolns Inn for and
toward the Relief of the Poor of the said Parish

That by a certain other Rate or Assesment made as aforesaid
on or about the 16th. Day of January 1772 for one other Quarter
beginning the said 29th. of September 1771. and ending the 25th. of
December following for the purpose above mentioned your
Petitioner is rated and assessed in the Sum of 13s. and 4d. for his
sd Chambers for and towards the Relief of the Poor of the said Parish

That by a certain other Rate or Assessment made as aforesaid
on or about the 22d. Day of May 1772 for one other Quarter beginning
the 25th. Day of December 1771. and ending the 25th. of March
following for the purpose above mentioned your Petitioner is
rated and assessed in the Sum of one Pound for his said Chambers
for and towards the Relief of the Poor of the said Parish

That by a certain other Rate or Assessment made as
aforesaid on or about the 10th. Day of July 1772. for one other
Quarter beginning the sd. 25th. Day of March 1772. and ending the
24th. of June following for the purpose abovementioned Your
Petitioner is rated and assessed in the like Sum of one Pound
for his said Chambers for and towards the Relief of the Poor
of the said Parish

That by a certain other Rate or Assessment made on
or about the 25th. Day of October 1772 for one other Quarter
beginning the said 24. of June 1772 and ending the 29th. of
September following for the purpose above mentioned your
Petitioner is rated and assessed in the Sum of 16s. and 8d. for
