I John Pewsey< no role > of the Hamlet of Poplar , in
the Parish of Saint Dunstan, Stepney , in the said County, Surveyor ,
or Supervisor of the Parish of Saint John Wapping , the Parish of Saint
Ann , Limehouse , the Precinct of St. Catherine , the Hamlets of Ratcliff ,
Mile-End Old Town , Poplar and Blackwall , appointed in pursuance
of an Act of Parliament, passed in the Fourteenth Year of the Reign
of His Majesty King GEORGE the Third, Intituled, "An Act for
"the further and better Regulation of Buildings and Party-Walls, and
"for the more effectually preventing Mischiefs by Fire, within the
"Cities of London and Westminster , and the Liberties thereof, and
"other the Parishes, Precincts, and Places, within the Weekly Bills of
"Mortality, the Parishes of Saint Mary-le-bone , Paddington , Saint
"Pancrass , and Saint Luke at Chelsea , in the County of Middlesex ;
"and for indemnifying under certain Conditions Builders, and other
"Persons against the Penalties to which they are, or may be liable for
"erecting Buildings within the Limits aforesaid contrary to Law".
Make Oath, and say, That to the best of my Judgment and Belief
a dwelling house of the third Class built
by Mr John Jameson< no role > in the Narrow Street
in the Hamlet of Ratcliff aforesaid is
Built agreeably to the several Directions
contained in the said Act.

Sworn before me, One of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the
said County, the Sixteenth Day of
July One Thousand
