MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks-Hall , in Saint John-Street ,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the twentieth
Day of October in the fourteenth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of
Great Britain, Etc.

A Bill of Edward Hall< no role > Gentleman Governor of the
House of Correction at Clerkenwell for Money by him expended
and laid our for Work done at the said House of Correction by the
Prisoners committed to Hard Labour from May Session last to
this present Session amounting to the Sum four pounds
thirteen Shillings being laid before this Court for payment and
it appearing by writing under the Hands of Benjamin Cowley< no role >
and John Walford< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's & Justices of the
Peace for the said County of Middlesex that the charges in the
said Bill [..] are just and true It is Ordered that Mr John
Benson
< no role > the County Treasurer do pay unto the said Edward
Hall
< no role > the said Sum of four Pounds thirteen Shillings and that
the receipt of the said Edward Hall< no role > together with this order
shall be a Sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for such
Payment.
