Sir
My Letter, extraordinary as it may seem to you, contains
nothing but facts from your censure of it as impertinent, it is

the contents of it as they relate to the Publick so do they nearly
concern me and my Office, and are therefore in the only true

I shall not take upon meto vindicate either the Letter or
myself against your charge of uncandidness, till I have better
evidence of your discretion and manners than is contained
in your answer; which thought brief is not so sententious as
Saucy: To others I am able and ready to justify the contents
of it, I therefore leave your to your own opinion of that and
Your humble Servant
