Coal Dealer Taken upon his Oath
before me Joseph Girdler< no role > Esqr one
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County of
Middlesex this 20th. Day of
October 1744.

This Informant upon his Oath saith that
between Seven and Eight o Clock on Thursday
night being the 6th. of this Instant October his
Dining Room was broke open in his
Dwelling House in the night Time as he verily believes by William
Robert< no role > and did feloniously take and carry
away thereout a large Quantity of Wearing apparell
amongst which were one Pair of New
Calimance Stays, one Pair of Worked Muslin
Ruffles, and one Worked Muslin Handkerchief
the Property of the said Thomas Peirce< no role > found
upon Martha Parks< no role > , and ann Bowman< no role > the
wife of John Bowman< no role > the Former Martha
Parks< no role > went to Mr Notley a Pawn broker in
order to Plidse the said Pair of New Calimance
stays, one Pair of Worked Muslin Ruffles, and
