To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the Peace at Hicks Hall in the said
County Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Warden and
Overseers, of the poor of the Parish of Saint Anne within the Liberty
of Westminster in the said County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under the hands and
Seals of Stephen Clarke< no role > and Philip Dyet< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of
the Quorum) bearing date the second Day of May last Esther Orchard< no role > Wife
of Thomas Orchard< no role > (gone from her) and their three Children Vizt. Esther< no role > aged
four Years Elizabeth< no role > aged two Years and Sarah< no role > aged Six Months were
removed and conveyed from the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the
said County to the said Parish of Saint Anne as the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Thomas Orchard< no role > and his said Wife and three Children
Whereby your petitioner conceive themselves to be aggrieved.

Your Petitioner therefore humbly Appeal to this Court
against the Adjudication of the said two Justices and their
said Order and pray that Your Worships will please to
appoint same Day in this present Session for the hearing
and determining the said Appeal And to Order that
that the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields and all persons
concerned do then attend this Court.
