The Information of Henry Bowen< no role >
at Mr Watson & the Sign of the
Ship the Corner of Oghe Street
in the Parish of Saint Mary
Le Bone - taken before me one
of his Majestys Justices of the
peace for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that about two
o Clock in the afternoon of Sunday last this
Inform out was in The Tap Room of the Honed
of Mr Watson eating his Dinner when a person
now prevent who call & himself Thomas Benson< no role >
came in and asked this Informant for a Bit of his
Bacon which hear as eating & Sat down beside
this Informant and took some to Bacon the said Thomas
[..] en stayed some time with him & asked
himself he would take a walk with him Benson
lend a Shilling down upon the Table & Sold this
Informant it was to pay his reckening he gave
this Informant another Shilling into his hand
under the Table. then this Informant and the
said Thomas Benson< no role > went out together into the
fields near Portland Chappel from thence they
went to the Turks head in Harley Street and
Bank Home Beer then Benson told this
[..] he was surprized that he should Lodge
[..] bbic Honor if he would come & Lodge
[..] him he should be welcome & also told him
that he would put him int an easier way of
getting Money then by Working so hard he then
gave this Informant a Guinea & told him
that it was a better Shilling than the other
was that it would help him to get better Cloath
then Benson asked this Informant to go over
the fields with him which this Informant at from
refused but at last consented when they came
