At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall
in Saint John Street in the said County (by adjournment) on
Thursday the Twenty first day of October in the Thirteenth
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third
King of Great Britian Etc.

It is Ordered that no Licence be granted to the proprietors of Ranelagh or
Mary bone Gardens or of any other Place of Publick Entertainment but under
Restriction prohibiting the Exhibition of Fireworks

It having been Ordered on the County day of the last Session, "that no
"Licence be granted to the Proprietors of Ranelagh or Mary bone Gardens , or of any
"other place of publick Entertainment; but under a Restriction Prohibiting the
"Exhibition of Fireworks"; which order you will find endorsed on your Licence. I am
directed by the Court to acquaint you therewith; and do therefore desire your particular
attention to the same
