treated the Petitioner<lb></lb>
with great Tenderness which induced him the Petitioner to become bound But<lb></lb>
it was not long after that the Petr. reced many Acts of Cruelty from his said<lb></lb>
Master & had been frequently unmercifully beaten by the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50634_n1190-4">John Hughes</rs>

himself and his Journey man who he ordered so to do without any reasonable<lb></lb>
Cause whatsoever & been frequently bid to go away & refused Instruction<lb></lb>
from his Master in the Business he was bout to learn him That the said<lb></lb>

little time after he had so reced them He male treated them in such a<lb></lb>
manner as to have made them be glad of a Discharge And the said Petr.<lb></lb>
humbly apprehended the reason be had with such Cruelty behaved to him<lb></lb>
& so soon after he was bound was that he might get rid of him & keep the<lb></lb>
Fee The Petitioner therefore most humbly prays that this Honourable Court<lb></lb>
would discharge him form his said Apprenticeship and Order the said<lb></lb>
Apprentice Fee to be returned or such part thereof as your Worships may<lb></lb>
