At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord
the King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint
John Street in the said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday the Eighth
Day of July & in the thirteenth Year of the Reign on one Lord George
the third King of Great Britain Etc Before Saunders Welch< no role > John
Walford
< no role > Benjamin Cowley< no role > & Joseph Keeling< no role > Esqr . and others their Fellows
Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned to keep the Peace in the
County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies
Trespasses and other Misdemeanors committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Bexley in the County of Kent Have at this present Session Exhibited their
Petition and Appeal setting forth That by virtue of an Order of Removal
under the Hands and Seals of D. Wilmot and Cad: Coker< no role > Esquires Two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Twenty fourth day of
May last past Hannah Lawrence< no role > Widow was removed from the Parish
of Saint Leonard and Shoreditch in the said County of Middlesex to the
said Parish of Bexley the said Justices adjudging the place of the last
legal settlement of the said Hannah Lawrence< no role > to be in the Parish
of Bexley in the county of Kent aforesaid Whereby the Petitioners conceived
themselves agrieved Now upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath
been alledged by the respective Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor
their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the Premises It is
Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed and the
said Order of Removal of the said Two Justices is hereby vacated and set
aside And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the Parish of Boxley in the County of Kent aforesaid do forthwith convey
and deliver Back the said Hannah Lawrence< no role > (together with a copy of
Brdos) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of saint Leonard Shoreditch or to some or one of them who are hereby
required to receive and provide for the said Hannah Lawrence< no role > until
they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due Course of Law
And it is Also further Ordered that the Church wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch do forthwith pay
or cause to be paid to the Church wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
parish of Bexley in the County of Kent or to some or one of them the sum
of Fifteen Shillings for their Charges and Expences in relieving and maintaing
the said Hannah Lawrence< no role > since their removal
