We the Grand Jury of the County of Middx having
taken a Survey of the King's Goal of the county Called
New Prison and Bridwell Do. Present the Goal of
New Prison to be in a Very Weak defective and insecure
State and requisiste to be Rebuilt or at Lease to have
a thorough repair made for the securing the
prisoners detained therein Particularly as set down
in the Schedule Annexed And we further Pressent
that the Elabaratory of Thomas Crawford< no role > adjoying
to Baidwell and New Prison is a great Nunsance to
the Prison's In Witness whereof we Subscribe our
Names this 2d: of May 1772
