Be it Remembered That on the Sixth Day of
November in the Twelfth year of the Reign of his
present Majesty King George the Mind Michael
Harle of New Ormond Street in the Parish of
Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex
Grocer in his proper Person as well for his said Majesty
as for himself Maketh and Eliciteth to Me John
Machin
< no role > Esqr One of his said Majestys Justices of
the Peace in and for the said County a Complaint and
Information and thereby informeth Me That One
Elizabeth Wells< no role > Widowdid on the fourth Day of this [..]
November
at the Sign of the Pilguin in Holborn in the
Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the County
aforesaid did on the fourth Day of November M [..] Sell Beer by Retail without being duly
Licensed so to do Whereby the said Elizabeth Wells< no role > hath
forfeited the [..] of Forty Shillings together [..] the
Costs and Expence of Convicting the said Elizabeth Wells< no role > for
the said Offence - And that John Jones< no role > of Tottenham
Court Road in the parish of Saint Pancras in the said
County and Henry Green< no role > of Tottenham Court Road
aforesaid are Material Witnesses to be Examined concering
the Premises And thereupon the said Michael Harte< no role >
who as well for his said Majesty as for himself Exhibiteth
this Information prayeth Judgement of me the said
Justice in the Premises that He may have One Moiety
of the said Sum of Forty Shillings And also the Costs and
Expences of such Conviction as aforesaid according to the
form of the Statute in that Case made and provided
And that the said Elizabeth Wells< no role > may be Summoned
to Answer the said Premises And the said John Jones< no role >
and Henry Green< no role > to testify their knowledge therein
