I Do hereby gave you Notice that my Objections to the Poors
Rate made for the said Parish and Appealed against by me
are as Follows (to wit) That for Several Years Last past (to wit)
from the Year 1752 to this present Yard a Misapplication has been made from
time to time of the Moneys Collected for the Relief of the Poor
of the said Parish in this that the Ballances or Surphies of
the said Moneys Collected and in hand at the End of every Year
after Paying and Depaying all Necessary Expences Relating
to the Poor of the said Parish during that Space of time
Have from time to time Annually been Paid into the Hands
of the Respective Upper Churchwardens of the said Parish and
not in the Hands of the Suceeading Overseers of the Poor
for the Use of the Poor and that such Ballances or Surples
[..] and Deferent Surprises then for
the Relief of the Poor of the said Parish there fore that a Rate of Four
Shillings in the Pound is the said Money had been properly
Applied would now be un Necessary suppeding a Rate of to Se
ing Pound should be Demand Necessary and legal
And also
that I am Rated as Stated in my Petition or Appeal
more Rent Pd Ann for the Premises which new one or were
at the time of making the saidRate now is Quertar Actually Occuqred
