At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint
John Street in the said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday
the Twenty third day of February in the Ninth year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great
Britain etc

Two several Bills of Peter Jackson< no role > being laid before this Court for
payment the first amounting to Thirty five pounds Nine Shillings and
three pence for bread delivered to the Governor or keeper of the House of
Correction at Tothillfields within the Liberty of Westminster in this
County for the use of the poor Prisoners there from the 5th. day of July
1768 to the 14th. day of October 1768 and the other for Bread in like
manner from the 15th. day of October 1768 to the 11th. day of January
last Amounting to Twenty Six Pounds Seven Shillings and four pence
and making together the sum of Sixty one pounds Sixteen Shillings and
Seven pence And it appearing that the same Bills have been inspected
and Examined by Saunders Welch< no role > and Thomas Kynaston< no role > Esquires two
of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the said County and Liberty
whose hands are subscribed thereto It is Ordered that Mr. James
Jefferson
< no role > the County Treasurer do pay unto the said Peter Jackson< no role >
the said Sum of Sixty one pounds Sixteen Shillings and Seven pence
in full of his said Demand whose Receipt together with this Order
shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment

Reced 28th. Febry 1769 of the abovenamed Treasurer
Sixty one Pounds Sixteen Shillings and Seven pence in full
of the above order
