To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Session
of the peace Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the parish of St. Paul Covent Garden in
the said County.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of Joseph Girdler< no role > and Stephens
Clarke
< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the
peace in and for the said County of Middlesex (one
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the Twenty
fourth Day of October last Amelia Champion< no role > an
her Male Bastard Child aged Eighteen Months and
Upwards Baptized by the Name of Francis were< no role >
removed and conveyed from and out of the Liberty
of Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents in the
Parish of St. Andrew Holbourn in the said County to the
said parish of St. Paul Covent Garden as the place
of her last legal Settlement with her said Male
Bastard Child for Nurture.

Your Petitioners conceive themselves Aggrieved
by the Order of the said two Justices therefore
humbly Appeal to this Court against the same
And Pray your Worships will be pleased to
appoint a Day in this present Session for the
hearing and determining the said Appeal

And your Petitioners shall pray Etc:
