John Boucher< no role > of the Parish of Saint Luke in the County
of Middlesex Gentleman maketh oath that he hath made diligent
inquiry after Christopher Coates< no role > the Prosecutor above named in order
to have served him with an Original notice in writing of which the
annexed is a true Copy And this Deponent S [..] coth that he made such
Inquiry at the said Coates's late Lodgings in (Holywell Lane in the
Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex and
at other the most likely places where this Deponent thought the said
Coates could or wright be found or heard of And this Deponent Cith
that notwithstanding his utmost endeavours to find out the said
Coates or his place of Residence He this Deponent could not
possibly find out the same or any thing further thereof and of the said
Coates than that he the said Coates had left his Lodgings in Holywell
Lane aforesaid without paying any Rent or giving any notice to his
Landlord of his so doing And that after he had so done one James
Sanderson< no role > a Broker in Cloth Fair or same Person on his behalf
demanded his Goods alledging that the same had been purchased by
the said Sanderson, and which were afterwards taken away by the said
Sanderson or some Person for him, And this Deponent Saith he
also enquired of the said Sanderson where the said Coates could be
met with, And the said Sanderson told him he did not know, but believed
he was run away or gone into Yorkshire , And this Deponent Saith
that he not being able to find out the said Coates or his place of abode
He this Deponent did on Wednesday the Second day of December
instant lease an Original Notice in writing Of which the annexed
is a true Copy at the late Lodgings of the said Coates in
