Whereas by Indres of Apprentice hits bearing date on or about the
29th. day of Novr. in the the year of our Lord 1763. Henry William Fear< no role >
One of the Poor Boys of the Charity School of St. Giles without Cripple
in the City of London Did put himself Apprentice to Douglas Wier< no role >
of Great Swan Alley Goswell Street in the Parish of St. James Clerkenwell
Watch maker for the Term of Seven years from the date thereof the said master finding into his sd. Apprentice meat Drink Lodging and all Shoe Leather And
Whereas the said Apprentice hath this day made Complaint unto us two
of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex That his
said Master hath unlawfully beat him and Turned him out of Doors and
Refused to provide for him according to the [..] Covenant
in the said Indenture of ApprenticeshipWhich matters of Complaint
being more fully heard before use in the presence of the said Master
(being Summond on this [..]
Where upon the said Douglas Wier< no role >
the Master having been duly Summoned to answer the Complt. of his sd
Apprentice and We [..] being now here Attended by the Parties and
their Friends and Witnesses and upon hearing and duly considering What
hath been Alleged on either side by and on behalf of the same parties Do
as far as in us lies and in pursuance of the Statute in such Case lately
made and Provided Absolutely discharge the sd. Hy. Wm. Fear from his said
Appship anything in the sd. Indre of appship contained to the contrary there of
not withstanding In Testmony where of we have here unto set our hands and sd. at
H Hall the 30th. April 1765
