Collar maker in November last Entered
into a Recognizance with Sureties before Joseph Girdler< no role >
Esq.
to Appear at the then next General Session of the Peace to be
holden for the said County to Answer the Complaint of the
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn
above the Bars
in the said County for begetting Sarah
Couchman< no role >
Single woman
with Child of a Male Bastard
Child of which She was delivered on the Twelfth Day of
October last Which became chargeable to the said Parish
And Whereas the said Thomas Chapman< no role >
since his
Entering into such Recognizance as aforesaid hath Indemnified
the Parishioners of Saint Andrew Holborn above the Bars
afroesaid from all Charges that shall or may happen to Accme
to them on Account of the said Child Now We the
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish humbly Desire
that the said Thomas Chapmans Recognizance may
be discharged Dated this 30th. Day of April
1764
