Newgate Octr. 20th 1763

Honrd Sir


I was indicted in last July Sessions
at Hicks's hall for a Trespass and Assaults, and has
been detained in Newgate ever Since without
ever having been called upon to like my tryal
and the I have done all in my power to per
sevade Mr. Akerman to send me to Hicks's hall
yet to no purpose, but promises from time
to times, that he shall send me and he known
that I have no friends to support me and that
I am almost perished for want of the necessarys of
life during such a long and grievous imprisonmt
and as the Sessions is now almost under and I have
still no hopes of Relief which makes me give your
know this trouble that you would be is goad,
as give orders for any being brought to tryal or
discharged I would chearfully embrace Death before
I would by any longer in this lothromed Pungeon
to dye in the greatest misery in the world that
