Middlesex


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign
Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks
Hall in Saint John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment
on Friday the Eighth day of July 1763.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Hamlet of
Kew in the County of Surry Have Exhibitted their Petition and Appeal to
this Court Setting forth That by virtue of an Order or pass Warrant under
the hands and Seals of Samuel Wegg< no role > and Thomas Kynaston< no role > Esquires two
of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Twenty eighth day of
May last Charles Bolton< no role > Fisherman and Charles< no role > his Son aged near three
years were removed from the Parish of Ealing in the County of Middlesex
into the said Hamlet of Kew in the County of Surry aforesaid alledging
the said Hamlet of Kew to be the place of the last legal Settlement of
the said Charles Bolton< no role > and Charles his Son Whereby the Petitioners
conceiving themselves Aggrieved now upon hearing of what hath been
alledged by Council for the said parties It is Ordered that the said
Appeal Do stand Adjourned until the next General Session of the peace to be
holden for this County and that all the said parties concerned Do attend
the Court at Hicks Hall aforesaid on Tuesday the Thirteenth day of
September next Ensuing by nine of the Clock in the Forenoon (at
which time and place the said Session is to be holden by Adjournment
as it is Expected) to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination
of the said Court touching the said Appeal.
