To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex at their General Quarter Session of the peace held by Adjourmnt
in and for the said County assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church
wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of
St. Matthew Bethnal Green in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by a pass or Order of Removal under the Hands and
seals of two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said County
(whereof one is of the Quorum) bearing date the Ninth day of May
last past William Bruit< no role > and Mary< no role > his Wife were Removed from
the parish of Edmonton in the said County of Middlesex to the parish
of St. Matthew Bethnal Green aforesaid as the place of their last legal
settlement whereby Your Petitioners apprehend themselves aggrieved
and do Appeal to this Count against the same

Therefore Your Petitioners and Appellants pray
that this Court will appoint a Day the next session for
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of Edmonton and all persons concerned to
Attend the said next session to hear and abide the
Judgment and Determination of this Court touching
the said Appeal And that your petitioners and
Appellants may be Relieved in the premisses as
this Court shall see meet
