The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Paul Shadwell
in the County of Middlesex
Sheweth
That by Pass or Order of Removal under the Hands & Seals
of

and
Peter Hanck< no role >
Esquires
two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex
aforesaid
(whereof one is of the Quorum) bearing date the 30th day of November last past

sayed to be the Wife of
Thomas Toole< no role >
a Soldier and gone abroad and
their two Children to witt

Aged 10 Years & upwards and
Sarah< no role >
Aged 4
Years and upwards were removed from the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields
in the
Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex
aforesaid to the Parish of Saint
Paul Shadwell
aforesaid as the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Elizabeth Toole< no role >
and her said two Children
By which said Pass or Order of the said Two Justices Your
Petitioners & Appellants apprehend themselves Aggrieved and to Appeal to
this Court against the same.
Therefore Your Petitioners & Appellants Pray that this Court
will Appoint a day this present Session for the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Said Parish of St. Martin in the fields
and all Persons concerned to
Attend this Court to hear and Abide the Judgment and Determination of the Court
touching the said Appeal And that your Petitoners & Appellants may be relieved
in the Premises as this Court shall seem meet.
And Your Petitioners & Appellants will ever pray Etc.
