a Person Lawfully Deputed to put
in Execution a late a of Parliamt.
called the Bum Boat & Lumpers
hot taken this 1st. day of Decr. 1762

Who being apon Oath says that about half an hour
after fin this Morning as he was passing by the door
of W. Hance Gay< no role > Sugar Baker near Coal Hans Shadwell
he saw a Person now Present who calls himself Daniel
Morley
< no role > in Company with another Person whose Name is
Johnson, knocking at the Shop door belonging to the said
Gays says that not being admitted at that door they
went to the House door and was admitted and then
came out again immediately says that he then
Spoke to said Morley and said I am come too late
that said Morley answered yes, we have Just done
our Business & then asked this Informt. to drink a Print
of Hall with him which he did, says that he then went
& fetch his Partner John Poole< no role > & desired time to go to
the said Sugar Bakers and make some enquring
relative to this Matter, that in the mean time he went
himself to said Morleg's lodgings in Order to Apserehord
him, says that not finding time returned to said Sugar
Bakers where he found said Morley in the Custody
of said Poole, says that while said Morley was in
Custody, he borrowed two Guineas from said Gas
in this Informant's presence, which he offered this
Informt. and his Partner as a Gratuity to let him
go without carrying him before a Magistrate
