deced instantly fall - says he was taken up by Mills
in the Middle of the Road & he walk'd abt. 6 or 7
Yards to the Pails & drop'd - died prsently only
said he had done for him - Says he never Saw
the Prisoner before - but says the Prisoner claim'd the
Fork now produced as his own & said he bought
it in Robinson's Lane in Chelsea & gave 8s. for it
but did not Say of when he bought it.

had a Fork wch. he bought in Robinsons Lane &
gave sd. for itsays he saw the Fork & that the
Letters J. H. were burnt in upon it - That the
Prisoner said he would Cut the Letters out, & said
that his Mar. Jno. Hutchins< no role > at Chelsea had put
his brand Mark upon it instead of his ownSays
that yesterday
says he saw him Cut the Letters
J. H. out but did see him Cut any Letters in,
That yesterday Morning he saw the Prisonr. near the
Chandlers Shop door & the Fork near him
says he told Mills that that Man had Cut the
Letters J. H. out of that Fork - Mills said
Fatal the Fork - that the deced was prsent.
