At the General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for
the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John
Street in the County Aforesaid by Adjournment on
Thursday the twenty fifth Day of June 1761. In
the first year of the Reign of King George the
Third.

It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County Do
pay to James Sturges Adams< no role > three pounds Seven Shillings and
Six pence half penny in full for Subsistance of Vagrants as
mentioned in his Account this Day delivered And that the
Receipt of the said James Sturges Adams< no role > together with
this Order shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for such payment.
