The Information of Samuel Wigg< no role > of Kensington
Carpenter Taken before me this 29th. day
of January 1961

Who being on Oath says that he has lived at Kensington aforesaid
about Eight years, says that for about six or seven Months
past he hath known Mrs Susannah Waller< no role > late Servant to Mr.
Cleghorn of Kensington Square , and hath been very Intimate with her
for about a Month last past, says that abt. a fortnight agoe
he this Informant having occasion to Borrow a little Money
asked the said Susannah if she cou'd lend him two or three
Guineas, that she told him she had not a halfpenny in the
World, says the said Ann Walter< no role > then Fetched him a Silver Table
Spoon and brought it to this Informt. at the Foot of the Stairs
in the House of the said Cleghorn, which this Informt. received
says she then desired this Informt. to go up stairs to see a
Chimney Glass which was Broke and a couple of new Packing
[..] says that they were up stairs this Informt. [..]
said Susannah that the Silver Spoon wou'd not be Suffecient
for him to make as much Money on as he wanted, that she
then went to a Cubbart in her own Room and took out a pair
of Silver Buckles and a Ring and gave to this Informt.
says he then asked the said [..] Susannah what they shou'd do in
Case they were found out, to which she answered, her Masters
Hostler lodged in the House, that she wou'd lay it upon him &
make him pay the Money, says that in two or three days af [..]
this he this Informt. sold the said Spoon, the Buckles and Ring
to Mr. Hemmins Silversmith in Piccadilly and afterwards
went to the Susannah and informed her of the same
says he Sold them for three & twenty Shillings & nine pence
or thereabouts
